Abstract Submission Guidelines

1. Corresponding author need to create a user ID prior to submission of the abstracts.

2. Abstract and other details have to be entered or copy pasted in the relevant box.

3. .doc or .docx file (in the prescribed format) also need to be uploaded to complete the abstract submission process.

iRAD-2018 encourages submission of abstracts in the following topics

  • Advances in emerging Weather Radar Technology and Signal processing
  • Radar calibration, Quality control techniques, Operational Radar Networks
  • Quantitative Precipitation Estimation (QPE)
  • Applications of Radar data in Meteorology, Hydrology, and Urban Planning
  • Microphysical Studies and Dual-polarization observations
  • Severe Weather observations and Storm Electrification
  • Moving platforms: Space-borne, Air-borne and Ship-borne Radars
  • Millimeter Wavelength Radars for cloud observations
  • Wind profiling radars
  • Use of Radar Data for NWP Models

Abstract Format

  • Maximum 250 words.
  • No images or references or equations.
  • Include Author Names, affiliation, e-mail ID
  • File format .doc or .docx only (use the Abstract Template from Downloads, Rename with your name).
  • Font : Times New Roman
  • Title: 14 pt, Bold, Centre Aligned
  • Authors: 12 pt, Italics, Centre Aligned
  • Affiliation: 12 pt Normal
  • E-mail of corresponding author: 12 pt Normal, Centre Aligned
  • Abstract 12 pt, Single Line Spacing, Justified Alignment

NB: Only Young Scientist Award Contestants need to submit extended abstract
